SUPER RED LITHTAC EP 2 is a premium quality grease blended with a selected high viscosity mineral oil, lithium hydroxystearate soap thickener, special lead free EP additive, rust and oxidation inhibitors and a shear stable tackiness agent. It is also dyed red for easy identification.

PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS

It protects all moving parts from shock loading; it prevents scuffing and reduces wear with the excellent shear stability not found in conventional EP greases.

Formulated to guarantee an excellent level of resistance to water washout to ensure lubrication is maintained under wet and muddy conditions.

The presence of a shear stable tackiness agent ensures that the grease stays in place and resists leakage, even in the most severe and shock load conditions.

The rust and corrosion inhibitors protect all metal surfaces under difficult environmemts that may be corrosive or rust prone service situations.

Premium high viscosity base oil components have an excellent oxidation resistance that provides long service life. The consistency will not change in storage.

OPERATING TEMPERATURE RANGE

The recommended temperature range is from -20 oC to 130 oC, however they may be used at higher temperatures with the lubrication frequency increased accordingly.

APPLICATIONS

SUPER RED LITHTAC EP 2 GREASE is recommended for heavy duty transport, construction equipment, off highway construction, mining, logging and forestry, material handling equipment, general industrial greasing etc. It is not recommended for CV joints.

Texxon Ultra Blue Grease EP2 is an extra heavy duty grease suitable for high temperature applications such as wheel bearings.
TEXXON ULTRA BLUE EP2 GREASE is an extra high performance multi-purpose grease intended for a large variety of applications. It is based on a blend of high viscosity index mineral oils, a lithium complex soap thickener, specially selected lead free extreme pressure additives, rust and oxidation inhibitors plus a tackiness agent.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS
Excellent antiwear and EP performance that is important for reducing wear rates and achieving a high load-carrying capability even under conditions of high sliding and moderate shock loading, thus extending the equipment life.
The superior resistance to water wash-out assures correct lubrication even in the most severe water exposure conditions.
It has excellent adhesion and cohesion properties in order to reduce leakages and extend re-lubrication intervals.
In all operating conditions it has an excellent rust and corrosion resistance.
The superior oxidation and thermal stability extends the grease life and enhance bearing protection in high temperature applications.
It has good pumpability and low-high temperature performance.
OPERATING TEMPERATURE RANGE
The recommended temperature range is from -25 oC to 175 oC, however it may be used intermittently up to 200 oC with the lubrication frequency to be increased accordingly.
APPLICATIONS
TEXXON ULTRA BLUE EP2 GREASE is the prime recommendation for use in applications where high thermal resistance is required. These include
automotive, industrial, mining, earthmoving and marine applications such as wheel bearings subjected to high temperatures and load caused by repeated and high speed braking in particular on disc brakes, chassis, high speed ball and roller bearings, pre-packed and sealed for life bearings in several heavy industries, boat trailer wheel bearings, water pumps, winches etc. and other applications requiring grease lubrication.
TEXXON ULTRA BLUE EP2 GREASE may be used where either soap based or clay based greases are recommended, particularly if rationalisation of grease types is required.

TEXXON Winter RED is an extremely high quality product with excellent lubrication characteristics for the range of anti-friction and plain bearings, gears and couplings in automotive, marine, agricultural and industrial applications requiring grease with a high base oil viscosity and weld load. It is based on a lithium complex thickener, high quality paraffinic (synthetic) and polybutene base stocks combined with the inclusion of extreme pressure additives, effective rust, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors.
It has a base oil viscosity of 1900cSt @ 40oC and a Weld Point of 620kg/f.

It prevents scuffing and further assists in wear prevention because TEXXON Winter RED has excellent shear stability as well as the high load extreme pressure characteristics.

TEXXON Winter RED resists "SQUEEZE OUT" from surfaces requiring lubrication under load conditions. It has been specially formulated to include a shear stable tackiness agent which unlike other conventional lithium complex greases has this extra tenacity for STAYPUT lubrication because of this added adhesive characteristic.

HIGH SHEAR STABILITY ensures long service life particularly in sealed anti-friction bearings. The excellent resistance to mechanical shear combined with high film strength maintains grease consistency for extended lubrication service.
OXIDATION INHIBITED assures long service life.

RUST and CORROSION INHIBITED promotes effective lubrication under difficult environments that may be corrosive or rust prone service situations. These inhibitors protect all metal components under these adverse conditions.
